The Day of the Lord (Malachi 4:1-3)

Proposition: In Malachi 4:1-3, we see how God, on the day he is preparing, will drastically distinguish between the righteous and the wicked so that we will be motivated today to fear, trust, and serve the LORD always for his glory and our joy.

  1. God is preparing the day of the Lord (v. 4:1a)
  2. The day of the Lord will bring TERRIFYING VENGEANCE against the wicked (v. 4:1)
  3. The day of the Lord will bring TOTAL VINDICATION for the righteous (v. 4:2-3)
