Purpose statement: Genesis 2:4-7 introduces the story of humanity so that we might better understand the manner in and purpose for which the LORD God fashioned us, as well as our role in His world, that we might have great and humble adoration for our God.

  1. Man is fashioned to be a cultivator.

  2. Man is fashioned to be a living creature.

  3. Man is fashioned to be a recipient.
