Accounting for Sin (Genesis 3:6-8)

Main idea: In Genesis 3:6-8, the fall of Adam and Eve reminds us of two foundational realities about sin so that we will take responsibility for our sin and run to God for mercy and grace.

1. We are responsible for our sins, not God (vv. 6-7)

2. We are accountable for our sins to God (v. 8)
