WHY SHOULD WE GIVE?

By giving to Redeemed South Bay you are partnering with us in God's work to see every man, woman, boy, and girl in the South Bay hear the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! Furthermore, we know that God is the creator and sustainer of everyone and everything. He owns everything (Psalm 24:1-2, Haggai 2:8). All that we have has been given to us by God. Therefore, having been the recipients of such generosity, giving should be a priority for all Christians. Our willingness to give freely, joyfully, and generously, demonstrates a heart of thanksgiving and trust in God. 

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?

The New Testament does not command an amount of money for Christians to give, but rather holds up a mirror for us to examine the attitude of our hearts in regards to giving:

“They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life” - 1 Timothy 6:18-19

 “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”- 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

We encourage every person to reflect on these passages and give freely, generously, and joyfully, the amount they desire to give.

Redeemed South Bay online giving utilizes the well known and widely accepted PayPal Payment Service. Contributions are made online from your bank checking/savings account if you have your own PayPal account, or with your debit/credit card.

The user does not pay any fees with online giving, however Redeemed South Bay does incur minimal transaction fees when receiving online donations. The user gets tax credit for their full donation.
