  2. The Self-Glorification of Man and the Unjust Treatment of Man and God Requires the Sovereign Justice of God (v. 23a) 

    1. God's sovereign justice is upheld through the judgment of the sinner (v. 23a)

    2. God's sovereign justice is upheld through the justification of the sinner (v.24-25)
       

  3. How Trusting the Sovereign Justice of God Encourages the Church in the Midst of Persecution 

    1. Encourages the Church to pray persistently (v. 5, 12)

    2. Encourages the Church to preach passionately (v. 24) 

    3. Encourages the Church to persevere patiently (v. 2, 6-17)
