Proposition:  In Malachi 2:1-3, we see two gracious acts of God that should powerfully motivate you to fulfill your calling to make his name great among the nations!

1. God has set you apart for God-glorifying service (v 1-2a)
   1. God set apart Israel
   2. God set apart the Priests
   3. God sets apart believers in Jesus Christ
2. God will discipline you for God-dishonoring service (v 2b-3)
   1. God disciplined Israel
   2. God disciplined the Priests
   3. God disciplines believer in Jesus Christ
