Why should I study the book of John?

It’s been said that “John’s Gospel is deep enough for an elephant to swim and shallow enough for a child not to drown.” John ends his gospel saying: "Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."  Come join us as we swim in John’s deepest pools and wade in its shallows.  You will emerge refreshed, invigorated and believing that you have encountered Jesus, the promised Messiah, the incarnate Son of God and by believing, you may have life in his name.

May God give you great joy as you study this book and also the abundant life promised to all those who believe in His Son.
